Geck AI
AI Testing that Keeps Pace with AI Coding
Origin Story
I’ve been building web projects for over a decade, and I’ve always hated testing. When AI coding agents arrived, I thought my problems were solved. I was shipping features 10x faster, but I was also spending even more time testing. The agents weren’t perfect, and I found myself constantly clicking through browsers, checking links, verifying forms, and debugging issues that shouldn’t exist.
That was the starting point for Geck AI. If AI can code 10x faster, it should be able to test 10x faster too.
What is Geck AI?
Geck AI is an AI-powered testing tool that lives directly in your IDE. Instead of writing traditional test code or manually clicking through your app in a browser, you simply describe what should work in plain English, like “user can checkout with a credit card,” and Geck handles the rest. It creates the tests, runs them automatically while you code, and even self-heals when your UI changes.
Geck brings your testing up to speed with modern AI-assisted development so that the bottleneck moves back to where it belongs, your ideas, not your test suite.
Key Features
Plain English Test Creation
Write tests the way you think about them: “user can log in” or “checkout flow works with invalid card.” No Selenium, no CSS selectors, no test framework syntax. Just describe what matters.
Self-Healing Tests
When you change a button’s text, move a form field, or redesign a page, your tests automatically adapt. No more spending hours fixing broken tests after minor UI updates.
IDE-Native Testing
Never leave VS Code or Cursor. Tests run in the background while you keep coding. See results instantly without context-switching to browsers or external tools.
Visual Debugging
Screenshots at every step show exactly what happened during test runs. When something fails, you see it. No guessing what went wrong.
Why Geck AI?
Before Geck, I was spending 30 to 40 percent of my time manually verifying that things worked. I wasn’t writing code or designing new features, just clicking buttons in Chrome like it was 2010. With AI coding agents, I was building faster than ever, but testing could not keep up.
Geck AI helps me stay in flow. I describe what should work, it verifies that it is working, and I keep building. When I change something, the tests adapt automatically instead of breaking.
What started as a personal time-saver turned into something I knew other developers needed. If you are coding with AI but still testing like it is the old days, Geck AI is the missing piece.
