I’m Rupi. I’m a developer, writer, startup founder, and angel investor.

I’ve built multiple startups over the years. Some found traction, others didn’t, but each one sharpened my instincts for building products people actually use. Today, I’m working on Geck.ai and Nottu.ai, two ventures that combine my love for product, AI, and practical problem-solving.

I’m also an active angel investor, having backed over 100 startups across India, the US, and Europe.

Earlier in my career, I helped BP, one of the world’s largest energy companies, build its first data science and analytics team, and worked across risk, product, and commercial strategy.

I started out as a journalist and later became a self-taught developer — I still get my hands dirty with code and design. I care deeply about team culture and enjoy turning ideas into real, working products.

I hold a degree from the Missouri School of Journalism and an MBA from Michigan State University.

Born in Punjab, India, I spent most of my academic and professional life in the US and have since lived in Germany, England, and the Philippines. I’ve now made Bangalore, India home (for now!).
